Sarah Friedman

As a senior college admissions consultant, Dr. Friedman brings many years of college consulting
experience to her role at Spark. Her extensive knowledge of the highly-competitive college admissions process
allows her to effectively help students hone their academic skills, expand their extracurricular
interests, and develop deep narratives to stand out in the admissions process at Ivy League and other top-ranked
institutions. In addition, by assisting students in creating flawless, intriguing applications, Dr. Friedman
helps students gain admission to their top-choice schools.

Prior to Spark, Dr. Friedman gained admissions expertise at Barnard College and The University
of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Friedman has also taught writing classes and won the Outstanding
English Instructor award at The University of Wisconsin due to her ability to connect with and
inspire students.

Dr. Friedman holds a BA (summa cum laude) from Barnard College of Columbia University and
a Ph.D. in English from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She resides in New York City
with her partner and her shih-tzu bichon mix, Penny.
